Credegra's mission is to bring clarity, rigor, and predictability to carbon project certification — helping developers produce stronger documentation, navigate complex standards with confidence, and get high-quality credits to market faster.
During my years as an executive at Verra, I watched talented project developers lose months, or even years, to certification delays unrelated to their work's quality. Their science and fieldwork were solid. The friction was in translation: converting complex data into documentation that satisfied hundreds of demanding requirements.
The problem was rarely capability. Developers simply navigated in the dark, discovering shortfalls months into a review cycle when compounding delays already threatened contracts and financing.
I started Credegra to provide the missing tools. Vital climate projects should not stall over preventable paperwork. Developers needed a way to view their work through a reviewer's eyes before hitting submit.
Our platform does exactly that. Having reviewed thousands of projects and seen the same compliance gaps cause delays over and over, we built Credegra to systematically evaluate every requirement against those real patterns. The result: developers close gaps early, submit with confidence, and build the kind of pre-certification clarity that earns trust from buyers and investors.
Your work is too important to be derailed by documentation friction.
Our team brings over 50 years of combined experience in carbon standards, certification processes, project development, and AI engineering.
Toby has spent the last 25 years building the leading standards and certification programs to channel finance into nature-based and other carbon reduction and removal projects.
As Chief Program Development and Innovation Officer at Verra, Toby recognized the potential for AI to revolutionize certification, reducing friction and scaling impact, which led him to launch Credegra.
Neil is a business leader, software architect, and generative AI expert, pioneering the development of breakthrough AI applications.
He has held leadership roles at Intel and co-founded several successful tech startups, including CharityLogic, where he built iCarol, now the primary software system used by hundreds of non-profit helplines around the world.
Diego founded and led Pachama, a climate technology company using AI and geospatial data to monitor carbon sequestration in natural ecosystems. Under his leadership, Pachama raised over $90M and supported the restoration of millions of hectares globally.
In 2025, Diego guided Pachama’s successful integration with Carbon Direct.
"AI has already transformed how we monitor and measure carbon sequestration geo-spatially. The next frontier is the compliance and certification process itself. Credegra is exactly the kind of purpose-built infrastructure the carbon market needs to deliver on its quality and integrity commitments."
Credegra is launching in the voluntary carbon market, with plans to expand into compliance markets and broaden coverage to include buyer due diligence and project quality frameworks.
